3D printing is one of the most important technological revolutions of the new millennium. At least, that is, according to the heroes of this film, the founders of two American start-ups, Formlabs and Makerbot. We follow their efforts over the years to develop and bring to market a functional prototype of a three-dimensional printing device for the average user. With success, however, come the first business and personal disputes, and with them corporate ethics are gradually transformed. The new technology also opens up the question of copyright.
