Film inspired by real-life events. War veteran Pravomil Raichl decides to get revenge for a friend who was unjustly executed by the Communist regime. He has believed his whole life that prosecutor Karel Vaš, who is responsible for the killing, will face justice in a court of law. When that doesn't happen, he decides to take revenge.
