He wanted to be a gangster, so he did everything for it. Or maybe he was just pretending to be, so that people would know about him, and then he tried what it's like to rob someone. And it worked for a while. If it weren't for Patricie Arquette, I wouldn't even enjoy watching it. The main "hero" is such a pointless character that I didn't even want to look at him and I hoped he would end sooner as he eventually did.
