A comedy about two brothers who could not be more different if they were strangers. Go-getter Rudi lives in the world of corporate culture and thinks like a manager; he is very productive and has a "High Performance" award to prove it. Daniel loves theatre, rides a bicycle and does not fit in the world of the "successful". Both brothers show interest in the same woman, which causes a surprising twist of events. In one of Vienna's backyards, a troupe of thespians rehearse a play featuring White Horses, a song by Austrian chanson singer Georg Danzer whose chorus repeats: "What, my love, do we still believe in?" In other words: Who in our society sells their principles, to whom and at what cost? Describing a diffi cult coming together of two brothers, the picture is a lightly ironic study of family and society. "I guess the fi lm has become a comedy because my view of the world is rather sad," said director Johanna Moder. "I happen to believe that comedy is the only way of making a story communicative." The cast includes Ulli Bär, Austrian pop star of the 1980s. A fi lm about the strength of arts and of an artist.
