The Child of Silent Winter

The monotonous life in early retirement under the age of 30 is filled with routines. However, the reasons for Katja's retirement are not the routine ones, and her life in a northern Finland city is not all bleak. There is a certain restlessness bubbling under her reserved appearance, and she channels her anxiety into drawings. This sensitive film captures one of the 50 000 shades of marginalization.
