Which artist would not like a Sara Hildén of his/her own? The art lover bought pieces and made sure that her protégés had the financial support and amenities to focus solely on art. Patron paints a portrait of an adamant businesswoman passionate about art and of her lifelong love for her former spouse, artist Erik Enroth. Hildén took it on herself to keep Finland on the map of the international art scene. The film's palette also covers the Finnish art life from the 1940s to the 1970s.
