If it didn't have such a strange script that tried to be overly complicated, it would be a pretty good rural thriller with interesting characters. For example, the postman Bruce Dern is excellent, as is Sheriff John Malkovich. But even though the killer is also quite an interesting character, the whole thing is led to an ending that is simply not enjoyable. In the end, even the storyline is not much fun.
