The Other is one of those older films that can easily prove to you that age doesn't matter and that a good horror could be made in the past just as well as now. Honestly, I feel that in the past, there were many more good horror films made and that contemporary filmmakers sometimes forget how to truly scare people. There are only a few who succeed at it and who can create a similarly escalating atmosphere like the creators of this film.
