A woman catches her husband cheating on her and decides to take cruel revenge. She comes with a knife to the bed where the cheater is resting, decided to deprive him of the tool of her dishonor. When the retaliation fails, she proceeds to his son and finishes the act. And this is just the beginning of the latest radical piece of art of Kim Ki-duk, a Korean filmmaker. The master of concise, minimalist dramas perfects his method of silent narration where the film’s images speak for themselves, and presents the viewers with a film completely void of any dialogues. Moebius is a tragedy of antique proportions, full of dark humor, but also of sexual violence and narrative mastership. (Febiofest)
