Two decades of war with the Tamil separatists in Northern Sri Lanka ended with a brutal offensive by the Sri Lankan army in 2009. The film reconstructs the events that took place during the 120 days of fierce fighting, providing evidence of war crimes committed by the Sri Lankan government. According to the testimony and video recordings, the local civilians were victims of targeted killings and bombings. Moreover, the massacre of tens of thousands of people occurred in areas that according to official statements should have been no fire zones. The film presents shocking testimony the credibility of which the Sri Lankan government is trying to challenge. (One World)
