anglais "Lincoln" sparked a wave of films about American history, although some creators failed to realize that Spielberg was able to mask the political tedium with brilliant performances. "Copperhead" was unable to achieve the same, so it tries to be a very eloquent historical drama, hoping to resemble "Pride and Prejudice" at times. However, the speeches are truly meaningless and there is nothing to awaken you at the end of this two-hour film. Yes, it is possible to watch this as a lullaby, even on a sunny day when you were overflowing with energy until then. ()
