Beirut the Encounter

Once telephone service is restored, two former college lovers - one Christian, one Shiite - are finally able to connect but unable to meet as one of them is leaving for the United States the next morning. They arrange to meet at the airport where they will exchange tape recordings they make that night in which they express their feelings about each other. (Guanajuato International Film Festival)
