I was surprised by the rather low rating of this film, but when you look at it, you get the feeling as if you were watching another biographical movie. It doesn't have anything that would make it truly interesting. Zoe Saldana tries her best, but it's all filmed so ordinarily, without emotions, that you don't even feel like learning anything more about Nina Simone.
