Automobile license plates, comic book cut-outs, card figures, period calendars, bank notes, postcards, post-office stamps, and designer antiques from the 1960s act as the textural foundation for an experimental and hallucinogenic collage, an abstract detective story without detective or criminal. The comic-book aesthetics of Roy Lichtenstein, a sonic collage of Hollywood classics and a pixilated children’s book challenge guru Lewis Klahr to create a rampaging journey through the colourful landscape of 1960s iconography.
