(ESC Distribution)

anglais The scenes with the Pétanque, the impersonation in the restaurant or the ending in the fireman's uniform and gas mask are really unparalleled. Funny as hell. And although it may not seem like it, Pierre Richard also gives a perfect acting performance. I love him in all his positions - in the initial super-shy ("Yes?" - "I love you!"), when only his inner voice is confident (and only maybe), then in the following one, when he tries to get rid of his problem with all his strength and especially with the help of his new friend, and in the final, irresistibly bold creation in the casino. It's not a pure five stars, but almost. ()

anglais It's not as funny or as clever as I expected after seeing The Toy, but there are some very good and funny scenes. They just aren't spread out evenly throughout the film. Pierre Richard directed himself very well, and the film definitely won't bore you; it just might occasionally make you a bit uneasy. ()
