Every night Leon returns to his wife with an empty fishing net. Every night at their cabin on the edge of a wharf they eat canned sardines in silence. Leon can’t cut the rope connecting his boat to the wharf for fear of the unknown, open sea. But a storm that rages both outside and inside confronts him with a life changing dilemma.
