Waga haha no ki

The "Author" (Koji Yakusho) tells his experience with his "Mother" (Kiki Kilin) who has became senile. He senses that the aging mother will not live for long, but as she tries to embrace and hold on to the fading memories of her son, they reconcile the past of a very complex family history. A true story filled with love and humor, and the "joy and happiness of life" which Yasushi Inoue, one of Japan's most profound author, has wrote about himself and his mother. (Shochiku)
