A magnificent stop for the internationally successful Baarová in a home movie. The renewal of the couple she formed with Borský was perfectly complemented by the wonderful creations of the modiste French-speaker Haas and the freckled friend Ferbasová. The aerodynamic jacket presented by Eliška Pleyová should also be appreciated. ()
A very pleasant viewing, light and not playing at anything... but even stranger is the way in which the ending is perhaps unnecessarily dramatized, weighed down. Lída Baarová is beautiful, Hugo Haas is hilariously funny, Věra Ferbasová is almost useless, and Frič's direction is reliable. I was also impressed by the pleasant music. ()
