anglais I've always wanted a mouse fur coat and for the princess to come out of the TV and into my living room. I hope to have again that feeling of sitting in front of a fairy tale and thinking about nothing but her. ()

anglais The verse script is cute, Marie Kyselková and Josef Zíma are a nice couple, Martin Růžek used to give me a real fright and Stanislav Neumann's cook amuses me more and more... Unfortunately, The Princess with the Golden Star is also full of unbelievably annoying dance numbers (apparently a remnant of the theatrical version), which only delay the simple story. ()

anglais A classic fairytale that is even more naive than most others, but the magic of rhyming dialogues with songs that engrave into your memory simply works. Visually, it can be seen in the film that the colors are heavily stylized, which may be due to technicolor colors rather than necessarily the filmmakers' intention. Princess Lada looks slightly better in her mouse fur than without a hood, because the color of her hair somewhat negatively complements her face. It is still one of the prettier fairy tales for me that can be aired on TV during Christmas. ()
