Carlos is impulsive and has repeated the same grade in school because he's had little guidance in his life. Mayito is dedicated to school and isn't allowed to play with other children even though he wants to explore the real Cuba. Carlos and Mayito may come from different lives, but on May 1st they spend the day together to face their realities and dreams. (Zlín Film Festival)
