Dressed in a bizarre costume documentary filmmaker Martin Dušek sets off to Sudeten-German Day, a celebration his grandfather always attended. The organisers prove reluctant to embrace the newcomer however, instead regarding this modern day good soldier Svejk as an unwelcome intruder. anglais Absolute agreement with the user Mariin and Enšpígl. This absolutely embarrassing document showed what idiotic ideas Martin Dušek has. He may be searching for his identity, but in the final scene he clearly shows that he is making a unbelievable mockery of the Sudeten Germans. Such a disgusting and ironic joke that incredibly pissed me off. Overall, I don't understand categorizing Czechs, Germans, and Sudeten Germans. We are all people and we all act as life allows us. The fact that in the past, as a nation, we behaved as we did, only says a lot about who we are (if you like throwing different characters with different opinions in the Czech Republic into one bag) and present Martin Doešek again proved it perfectly. Those people couldn't help it, so why does he need to provoke and insult them in such a ridiculous way. He just embarrassed us in the world. But the worst part is that Germans don't have the courage to put him in his place, because as a nation, objectively, they realize their history and try to live with it. ()
