anglais Wow! Until recently, I thought that the fate of the Monty Pythons would be unfilmable at least until human cloning is allowed (or until it gets out of control) and wacky scientists create exact copies of this even wackier sextet. Then, suddenly in 2011, the BBC's slightly wacky filmmakers made Holy Flying Circus. And I can't stop staring. The actors, chosen with precision, are terrific, they excel, and the way they have taken on the difficult “Pythonization" deserves 100% credit. They don't really play them - they are them! However, the screenwriters also did their best to please the fans as much as possible and stuffed the film from head to toe with their own and yet purely Pythonesque jokes. From the opening credits to Cleese's endearing self-promotional spot, Palin's refusal to sign the petition... After the final "great debate" (the fans know). A pure pleasure.__P.S. After the second viewing, I'm deducting one star, but my impressions remain positive. ()
