If you didn't know any better, 19-year old Jed's life seems almost perfect - successful parents, lots of friends and success at school ensure him a rosy future. Jed, however, doesn't know what he wants in life. Fed up by his parents' career advice, Jed decides to leave everything behind. Without a plan, he gets on a train and ends up in a small town in Finland. But he finds that the reality of living on his own isn't so pleasant when his money runs out. Accompanied by an uninvited dog named Jesse James, Jed tries to find a job in town. His dream jobs of being a radio DJ or newspaper columnist don't pan out, but he does get a job in the newspaper industry - as a deliveryman. He later finds steadier work as a garbage truck driver's assistant and meets many interesting people in town… (Zlín Film Festival)
