This adaptation of a story by the Grimm brothers was again made in collaboration with Olga Čechová. The modern visual style is an excellent fit for the story, which – a bit unusually for a fairy-tale princess – emphasizes erudition and independence. The princess’ suitor eventually tricks her with the help of magic. (Anifilm)
