The Foster Boy

Max is an orphan working for a farmer's family, where they treat him like a workhorse. Playing the accordion is the one thing that nobody can take away from him. When the new teacher stands up for Max, it only makes his life even worse. His will to live is preserved only by his friendship with Berteli, a girl with a similar fate. Together they dream of Argentina - a fantasy world, where they say even pitchforks are made of silver. (Zlín Film Festival)
