anglais I was excited to see a new Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, and that’s pretty much the only reason I gave Dragon Eyes a shot. But in the end, Van Damme barely shows up — maybe two or three minutes of screen time tops. The heavy lifting is done by Cung Le, who the movie is actually about. And let’s be real, the so-called “story” is barely a story at all. The two stars I’m giving this are purely for the slick and stylish direction from John Hyams, which kept things somewhat interesting. Other than that, it’s not much to write home about. Also, Van Damme’s son should probably quit while he's ahead because he’s starting to really get on my nerves. ()
