Dream High

I was hooked from the first episodes and my enthusiasm didn't let go until the last minute. I had everything I needed here... love, singing, dancing, jealousy, friendship, evil, hatred, disappointment, the desire to win. I enjoyed watching the characters develop in interesting ways. Even if at times I was taken aback by that development. I must also praise the great music and modern flair. But most of the credit goes to the wonderful actors, dancers, and singers. Bravo, 5 stars. It took me a long time to watch the whole thing. I actually wanted to wrap it up after the first couple of episodes, but then I started watching it while doing different activities and that made it doable. It was fine for ironing or exercising, I would have been bored with it by itself. I enjoyed the supporting characters more than the main characters. I was most pleased with the casting of Hyolyn and Ailee. Hye-sung was completely uninteresting to me, and the blond guy didn't grab me much at first, but once they dyed him, I didn't mind him anymore. So I guess I ended up enjoying Yoo Jin the most out of the main ones. But when I think of Suzy, Soo-hyeon Kim, and others from the first season, there's no comparison. It wasn't that bad, but I don't need to see it again. 2.5 stars. (22/11/2014)
