The Spanish-French co-production shows its strength in a film that has scenes that are definitely not easy to watch, even though they are not very explicit. But it works. It also has a pleasantly dreamy atmosphere throughout, where some of the blows the film delivers are all the more powerful for it. Definitely worth a watch.
