anglais A silly film based on Jackie Collins and her book series intertwined with the character of journalist Madison Castelli. Collins has always been synonymous with fast-consumption bestsellers full of superficial glitz, glamour, and intrigue stemming from boredom. She published from the late 1960s until her death in 2015 and will never be forgotten by many generations of readers. However, as far as adaptations go, that's another story. Collins's novels always tempted toward cheap soap operas, with perhaps one exception, the novels "The Stud" and "Bitch," which made her sister Joan Collins famous. Those movies were such a sensation in the 70s that they were played as a double feature with soft porn. But if a TV veteran like Hudson Leick was miscast here, there was no one to choose from. ()
