But all is not well with this Amityville Asylum, as newly hired staffer Lisa Templeton begins to experience supernatural encounters. Her reports to the hospital administrators are unheeded, and the dark forces affecting the site grow stronger. Nothing seems to stop the evil spirits, and Lisa is soon fighting for her life. anglais The movie "The Amityville Asylum" should have had a fairly good starting point at the very least to create a sufficiently good atmosphere that would captivate and scare you throughout. But that would require a slightly more capable filmmaker. The image and sound here don't meet in the right synergistic connection, the editing doesn't work, and on top of that, there are actors whose performances are... well, bad. Let's not be completely mean. The connection to mythology is sterile, but that's basically normal within the series and wouldn't be such a big deal. The problem is rather that the revelation isn't interesting and is simply expected. ()
