At the end of Meiji era, in a port of coal shipment, Wakamatsu, there is a couple called Kingoro and Man Tamai. They are inborn bravers and managed to form a family from a small group Okiokisouji. The story takes place in bloody Wakamatsu port and it is about a life of disturbance, a small group move into a big family, showdown to a fate enemy, The Tomoda Family, and also about their son, Masanori.
