The digital clock on the film projector shows 88 minutes – and that's the time allotted to Sebastian before the end of the premiere screening of his film, 90 Minutes. Sebastian must manage to get back to the cinema before the film finishes and, in the meantime, exact his revenge against Guru (Udo Kier) for what he did to his love. The time is flying mercilessly while Sebastian keeps the countdown as a mantra, following his mission throughout Berlin with a gun in his hand. The intense, dramatic run for his life takes place in real time and leads him through the vibrant city, whose ingeniously selected topography is used to perfection. Shooting in real locations, Ivo Trajkov plays with the genre and merges reality with the film itself. (Febiofest)
