My Sassy Girl II is a sequel to the hugely popular 2001 Korean hit romantic comedy which even inspired a Hollywood remake. Film writers Choi Seak Min and Kim Ho Sik together with Hong Kong director Joe Ma bring an entire set of new cast to China this time for on-location shoot. Jianyu (Singapore Idol Leon Jay Williams) attempted suicide after being dumped by his girlfriend only to be saved by the beautiful Shangzhen (Lynn Xiong-Ip Man). Shangzhen then seeks Jianyu's help to sabotage her ex-boyfriend Yang Guo's (Bosco Wong) wedding. As Shangzhen slowly reveals her sadistic and domineering nature turning Jianyu's life into a living hell, he understands her emotional hurt and begins to fall for her...
