Since its first broadcast during Easter Week, 1953, I Beheld His Glory has remained in steady circulation on the airwaves. Told from the perspective of the Roman centurion, Cornelius (George Macready), this religious drama follows Christ's fateful trip to Mount Calvary towards His Crucifixion. Cornelius, a nonbeliever, was on duty in Jerusalem that day, and he found his faith at the moment of the Seven Last Words. So moved was he, Cornelius remarked, "Truly this Man was the Son of God."
