Jirka is a composer, his wife, Jana, a pianist. Jana would like to have an own concert, but so far she has only been selected to accompany Valenta during his concerts in Budapest. After some resentments, she accepts the proposal. In Budapest, because of an unexpected accident, Jana is able to give a concert of her own, and is successful. The concert organiser likes the young woman, and invites her to be her guest for one more week. But Klári is rather busy, and therefore asks her husband to take care of the foreign woman. Initially the man sees his task as a burden, but they get friendly in the end. They kiss, then say good-bye, both at a loss. The husband tells Klári what has happened. They argue, but make peace. Jana returns home. She is successful at a hearing. Jirka awaits her lovingly, and her career takes off. (texte officiel du distributeur)
