What would happen if Don Juan was a woman. Well, obviously it would turn out very badly, similar to this Vadim's film. It's quite clear that BB had incredible sex appeal even at almost forty, but it's also evident that Vadim pursued his strange poetic style, where you have the feeling that he was actually making a film without a story, even though he is trying very hard to create the opposite impression. It doesn't work for him, just like the presumed controversy doesn't work either.
