I don't think this is a film that's trying to emotionally blackmail anyone. On the contrary, I think from the perspective of individuals with Down syndrome, it's filmed very well. However, I really disliked the camera work, which bothered me throughout and detracted from the story being told, which admittedly didn't resonate with me as much.
