Charles Manson Superstar is a documentary made from the point of view that Manson is not what he has been made out to be, but that he is a much more complex person with deep emotions and intense personal philosophies. Sometimes disturbing, strange, and perception changing, as you see a Charles Manson beyond the media stereotypes. Nikolas Schreck's film is probably the best about Manson because it's entirely composed of interviews with the Manson himself and uses only sparse narration. Manson is either a man of geniuses or insanity, but either way this is an unprecedented glimpse into the life or philosophy of what is considered one of the most menacing criminals of all time.
