anglais Interestingly, my rating is somewhere between 3 and 5 stars, but 4 stars it is not. And I still can't make up my mind. But I know for sure that while I was watching it I was filled with so many emotions that some of them may not even exist. I know I was begging the screen for the main character to get over himself already. I know my eyes lit up with every note of "Almost Paradise". I know that I endlessly admire Min-ho Lee's looks and acting and that Beom Kim looks like a painting. I also know that I watched 20 episodes in one day. But I had to grit my teeth and suffer through it at times to get to the happy ending (!!!!). Even though a lot of scenes were unnecessarily drawn out, I was incredibly happy in the end. This series got into my heart and then started squeezing it. There were times when I didn't think it would turn out the way I imagined. But I could never have imagined what it would do to me. So for the power to control someone and keep them in front of the TV for hours, I give it 5 stars. But I won't put myself through that torture again... or will I? ()

anglais A little longer and a little better than the Japanese version. It starts to seem like the rich suffer the most, but that's okay because they get a happy ending on a sunny beach, right... and I also think our dear Goo Joon Pyo lost his curls nicely episode by episode. Some scenes were too long. That's about the extent of anything I could complain about. The rest of the show was a winner for me. Music – I'm downloading the OST. Maybe, just maybe, I felt like the actors had studied Hana Yori Dango because some of their expressions and facial expressions were exactly the same. But why not, it didn't bother me. I was hoping to brag here about how I watched it all in one go, but after the 23rd episode (yes, I hadn't slept for more than 24 hours :D) my eyes started to protest and I had to say goodbye for a while. No worries, at least I enjoyed the last two episodes well rested ^___^ It was nice, there were bitches, there were bastards and gentlemen, we saw touching and cheery scenes. I smiled with them, maybe cried with them, got goosebumps. I don't regret spending the whole day with them, even though I knew how it was going to turn out, I couldn't just turn it off and do something else. A weak 5 stars //// 21 Aug 2013 Three and a half years later I saw it again. Wow, has it been that long? And I have to take one star off. What I was so engrossed in back then got lost for me in the overabundance of pathos and bad acting by Kim Hyun-joong. But I still had a good time this time around, too, and I enjoyed the series. A lot of positives remained. And so on and so forth; we are in Korea and it’s based on a Japanese story... ()
