The Beatles didn't particularly influence me for my music taste, however, I have always perceived their significance in the development of modern pop music, and I was not bothered by the personalities of the Fab Four. For fans of John Lennon, Nowhere Boy probably has a more emotional dimension. I give the awards that the film garnered more in relation to the impact Lennon left on British culture rather than any exceptional artistic impressions from the execution. Personally, I saw an honest three-star film that certainly won't leave a deep impression on me, at most I will remember that Kristin Scott Thomas played the role of the pedantic Aunt Mimi. Overall impression: 60%.
