I would really give a lot to see the original silent version because as a sound film, The Canary Murder Case is just an example from film history. Yet the iconic Louis costume continues to seduce new potential viewers. And if at least an hour went by during the revue and took place backstage, it would be an absolute treat. This is because Louise's courage and beauty exceeded even Marlene Dietrich’s. Even the other costume with the rooster plumes was so perfect that Marlene had to repeat it and upgrade it four years later… (11/12/2013)
