anglais An honest crime drama that cares about its characters, so it introduces them to the audience for more than an hour, and especially in the case of the leader of the gang, it manages a very nice, almost acrobatic performance - it turns a tough, likable guy into a fickle thug with admirable fluidity. The highlight of the film is of course the carefully planned heist, which is very gritty and feels authentic. Rather than real police officers and hostages playing themselves, I think the direction contributed to this - because Charles Guggenheim was first and foremost a documentary filmmaker. Four and a half. ()
