This is an incredibly peculiar film where some scenes bothered me in terms of how they were shot and the visual presentation, while others captivated me with their brilliance. In them, Takashi Miike shows why he is such a popular and innovative filmmaker. He is classified as mainstream, but he is original, just like his films, where this one has a very peculiar plot that, however, works.
