The great author, Nyáry György is to be buried and the obituary is planned to be held by his good friend, the academician Márk Aurél, who gets a heart attack, however. Confusion and hysteria arise. The lid of the coffin breaks open, the author gets out and begins to walk towards the cemetery. Before his death it was a widespread rumour that he had written a diary in which he reveals everything and everyone. His wife, the branch, a good friend, the powerful, the young opposition, the press, the media all want to get hold of the diary, there is a big elbowing. Flora, the last lover of the dying man arrives from London. It will be her, who takes with her the last empty pages of the last manuscript of the dead author which contain a confession dedicated to her. (texte officiel du distributeur)
