Danny Kaye convinced me with this that he was truly a great comedian, and it's a pity that he's not as well-known here. Or at least I didn't know him. He didn't overdo it unnecessarily, if it wasn't necessary, he could handle more serious scenes excellently and even musical numbers, for example. Unfortunately, the film relies only on them; the rest is mostly just filler. ()
