Critiques (1)
I have nothing against amateur dramatics in a theatre, but amateur movie-making is a different matter. If these were separate pictures of the village in the form of ten-minute scenes on youtube, I probably would have no objections, but to i refuse to sit there sit there for an hour and a half watching a movie that hides its stupidity behind supposed absurdity, resolving its inability to tell us anything using moviemaking approaches by using the cheapest narrative tricks, pretending boredom is art and repeating the same “joke" over and over as an in joke. And I wouldn’t compare Helmer to Kusturica, but more like to Troška. You see, with its story about the spring, the frogs and mice battles, the movie itself and its cringiness, Absurdistan is the spitting image of Kameňák 2. ()
