In 2005, Bangkok begins the second phase of building their city subway system. But they accidentally discover something more. They have awoken an ancient animal which hibernates for more than ten thousand years. The army has to use the troops to block the construction site of the subway in order to detain the monster. The special soldiers are sent to fight with the monster. Even with their hi-tech military hardware, they are still unable to stop the monster. The mythological monster, a garuda, escapes from the tunnel, and begins to terrorize the city of Bangkok (texte officiel du distributeur)

The film "Paksa wayu" is quite lacking in the fact that the Thai film industry simply doesn't have the capability yet to make similar action films. In their execution, it simply doesn't look good yet, not to mention that there are plenty of scenes that are just interior shots because there simply wasn't enough funding for more. The action scenes are weak in places, not to mention the straightforwardness of the story, which takes up two hours with great effort. It is clear that those two hours are too long.
