anglais Adam McKay and Will Ferrel are back together and they're doing great. A great story about two adult slackers who are forced to live under the same roof after their parents get married. From this point on, a game of hijinks, double-crosses and various contrivances that can be a decent trip on the diaphragm begins. At times literally almost trivial humour, but here it worked wonderfully. 80% ()

anglais I like Will Ferrell most of the time, John C. Reilly only occasionally... But here they're both equal:they're as awkward as most of the film, in which probably only Mary Steenburgen and Richard Jenkins managed to entertain me. Otherwise, it was an unnecessarily roundabout, silly to the point of disgusting spectacle in the style of last year's Holmes & Watson. ()

anglais Such a terribly predictable movie, but there's nothing to be done. There are scenes here that I liked and just the idea of J. C. Reilly and Will Ferrell as stepbrothers their age, living with their parents, is excellent. It's nothing revolutionary, but here and there I really had a good laugh. It's a shame that the scripts are so dull and don't focus on the story, not just the situations. ()
