Crossing

I don't know why, but I was expecting the film to go more in depth and try to reveal the cruel face of North Korea as much as possible. Not that it didn't reveal it, but the glimpse into the labor camp, for example, could have been longer. Because this is the part of the film that is most shocking and makes the viewer feel helpless. Maybe it's I’m missing scenes that were cut. In-pyo Cha came across as humble and genuine, and you could sense that he was giving something extra. I just can't explain why I didn't shed a tear. 4 stars. (06/12/2013)
