This experimental compilation film is a suggestive collection of images from the first thirty years in the existence of the film medium. It is a follow-up to Film Is. 1–6 (1998), which was dedicated to the scientific laboratory as the birthplace of cinema. Working with the illusionism of the first varieté films and studio film, this sequel is a meticulous minimalist creation. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
